Version 5.5 (Extended Reports) April 13th, 2010

The main update in this version is 3 new reports (discussions report, time report and Gantt chart).
I can say in this version I added all features that I planed year ago.
Of course I will continue support qdPM. But now I can say target is done!:)

Time report
Using timer report  you can see next:
worked hours statistic by users
estimated and actual time statistic per task
filter data by users, projects, task status, and dates
export data to xls

Discussion Reports
Discussions reports works in the same way like tasks reports. You can create several reports and filter discussions by status or project and display report in home page

New Discussions model
I redevelop discussions and make it more useful, so now you can select users for discussion and you can create related tasks for discussion

Gantt Chart
There was a lot of request to add Gantt Chart so I added it. You can see Gantt chart for each project or for overall projects in reports

Multi assign users for one task
Sometimes it’s very useful assign several people to one task so now it’s possible

New fields
add Start Date and Progress in tasks fields. These fields can be used for Gantt chart.

New translation
Added French translation. Thank you Maxime for the help with translation

New Skins
added three new skins in this version

+ there are a lot of small fixes and updates in this version


Update from latest versions

1. Download file qdPM_upgrade_package_from_5.3_to_5_5.zip from https://sourceforge.net/projects/qdpm/files/ This file contain only core files, there is no configuration files in this package so you can just rewrite files. Note: I changed qdPM folders structure so you will find core folders (app, lib etc) in ‘qdpm/core’ folder
2. run sql query in update_from_version_5.3_to_5.5.sql (you will find this file in qdPM_upgrade_package_from_5.3_to_5_5.zip)
3. add next lines
use_tasks_timetracker:    on
use_tasks_ganttcharts:    on
in app.yml file under ‘use_tasks_groups:         on’  and set it on/off
4. Clear ‘Cache’ Folder
5. I added user right to allow manage discussions so after upgrade files go to users group and check permissions.
