Version 2.0 (things to help save time)

In version 2.0 I added a lot of things to help save time working with qdPM

Multiple tasks edit
Now you can select several tasks and update them together. In update dialog window you need just select value if you need to update it. You can update all task things also you can move task to other project. It will help save time with task managing.

Search
Sometime we need to find some information and without search mechanism it’s really hard. So now search function is in qdPM. You can search by projects, tasks and discussions or all of them. There are extended options to search in description and comments.

Task export
Sometime we have build some reports to our customers or we need to analyze overall tasks information. To workout with this things I added function to export tasks in xls file. You can export tasks into projects and into reports. All information about tasks with tasks extra fields will save in export file. Also in xls file Total Estimated Time will calculate automatically and it’s very useful for payment report.

My open projects
Small useful thing to show in menu (Projects->My Open Projects) projects where you are in team. So you have quick access to your current project in menu. Note: name “open” means project with default status, by default it’s status ‘open’ but you can change it in projects status configuration.

To update from version 1.0 just rewrite files, there is no db updates.

In next version I’m going to workout with qdpm style and add some themes…
