Version 5.0 (Support Tickets)

There are  a lot of updates in this version and the main update is support tickets. First I want to say big thank you to Kym (http://www.ozeworks.com/) she help me with tickets idea and testing.

Support Tickets
Support tickets in qdPM is useful bridge between clietn->manager->programmer. In configuration area we can set which users group can manage tickets and as an example we can allow clients manage support tickets only. So client go to PM and create new ticket.

as you can see in screenshot tickets can assigned to department, has status and type. All these things can be configured in configuration area.

Manager can easy check tickets and  create related tasks for each tickets and on ticket page he can see related tasks and on task page he can see related ticket. It’s really save time to find the information that we need.
We can set off manage tickets for programmers so programmers can see only tasks and can’t see related tickets and other tickets…

Users groups
Added two new parameters to allow manage tasks and allow manage tickets. After update from latest version you have to check group rights.

Scheduler
Now each user can have personal scheduler. I integrated http://www.dhtmlx.com/docs//products/dhtmlxScheduler/index.shtml scheduler in qdPM. So now each user can easy plane his time.

Reports
Added function to multiple edit tasks in report where you can easy select tasks and change tasks status for example.

Email Notification
Updated email notification and when do multiple tasks edit and change status or edit tasks and change status notification will be send. Also update emails titles anded task type and status to title.

Translations
Now there are three translation available in 5.0 version: German, Dutch and Russian (thanks Frank and Max for their help with translation). 1. Run next sql script  ‘doc/DBUpdates/from_version 4.2_to_5.0.sql’
2. Copy new code
3. Clear cache folder
4. Clear browser cache
